World-Class Museums Offer Virtual Tours: A Way to See Famous Art Collections


Google’s Arts and Culture collection teamed up with over 500 museums and galleries around the world to offer a virtual tour for anyone and everyone.

British Museum, London

Discover objects from the Roman Cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum, the Great Court, Egyptian mummies, hundreds of artifacts located in the heart of London.

Guggenheim Museum, New York

A famous spiral staircase, works of art from the Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, Modern, and Contemporary eras.

National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C.

The gallery was founded in 1937 and is free to the public. This American art museum displays two online exhibits: an exhibit of American fashion from 1740 to 1895, a collection of works from Dutch Baroque painter Johannes Vermeer, and masterpieces from the Van Gogh.
